Giridharan Thiruvengadam (Giri) is Head of the Finance and Legal functions at Aspire. Giri is a Chartered Accountant and legal professional with an experience of 20+ years in mid-sized IT services, product companies, Telecom and MNC Captive Technology companies.
During his tenure, he has done extensive work on business partnering, setting up and running FP&A, financial reporting under IFRS/US GAAP/I GAAP, MIS, international taxation, legal and secretarial compliances, corporate governance, treasury and in professional assurance services.
He has also successfully implemented internal control systems (SOX), processes and ERP (Peoplesoft Oracle) for a US listed company in India and SOX/ICFR for captive MNC and is adept at STPI, SEZ regulations, legal contracts.
Prior to joining Aspire, Giri has worked with Gigamon as Head of Finance and was on their Board. Prior to that he has worked in increasingly responsible positions in companies like Sify Technologies, BORN Group, iNautix, Keane India, PwC, and as a lawyer at Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan, Attorneys at Delhi. By qualification he is a CA, Cost Accountant and holds a degree in Bachelor of Law from Madras Law College.
