Gowri Shankar Subramanian is a Co-Founder, Chairman & CEO of Aspire Systems. He commenced his entrepreneurial journey at a very young age. With over 30 years of experience in the IT sector, Gowri has been recognized as a pioneer in managing strategy as well as people practices.
A visionary, Gowri has steered Aspire from the small start-up it was in 1996 to the enterprise it is today. Under his leadership, Aspire has grown to a team of over 4,500 people with a strong presence across the US, LATAM, Europe, Middle East, India and APAC.
He is an active speaker and has presented in various industry events. He has been quoted extensively by leading publications. Gowri is an Angel Investor, actively investing in start-ups across the country. He also believes in giving back to society through Aspire’s CSR wings, Polestar and Pearltri Foundation, that stand for the cause of social upliftment.
Gowri has a Master’s in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Pondicherry Engineering College. He is also an amateur pilot still trying to get it right!
